Questions

Is Quizy really free?

Yes. The app and Quizy AI are free, with no subscription or trial. Quizy AI is shared by everyone, so if it's busy you can add your own free key from Groq or Gemini in Settings.

Which files can I use?

PDFs (including scanned ones), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), text and Markdown files, notes you paste in, and photos of notes. You can also import Anki decks.

How good are the cards?

They're written from your material, and every card links to the page it came from so you can check it. You can edit any card, and the quality check points out vague or repeated ones.

Do I need internet?

To make new cards, ask your document questions or get explanations. Studying the decks you already have works offline.

Is there a Mac or phone app?

Quizy runs on Windows. You can study on your phone through your PC: turn on phone access in Settings and scan the QR code while both are on the same Wi-Fi.

Where are my decks stored?

On your computer, in Quizy's own data folder. Uninstalling the app doesn't touch your other files.
